  • Arisu Tour Co., Ltd. Travel Terms and Conditions

    Article 1 (Purpose)

    This agreement is intended to define the detailed execution and compliance matters of the domestic travel contract between Arisu Tour Co., Ltd. and the traveler.

    Article 2 (Types and definitions of travel) The types and definitions of travel are as follows.

    1. General recruitment trip: A trip conducted by recruiting travelers according to the travel conditions established by the travel agency.
    2. Customized travel: A trip conducted by a travel agency according to the travel conditions desired by the traveler.
    3. Consignment recruitment travel: Recruitment of travelers for recruitment travel products created by travel agencies to other travel agencies. Travel carried out on consignment.

    Article 3 (Obligations of travel agencies and travelers)

    ① In order to provide safe and satisfactory travel services to travelers, travel agencies must faithfully perform their duties in the process of establishing and executing travel plans, including travel arrangement, guidance, transportation, and accommodation.
    ② Travelers must actively cooperate in promoting harmony among travelers and maintaining travel order at the travel agency for a safe and enjoyable trip.

    Article 4 (Construction of Contract)

    ① The travel contract consists of the travel contract (attached), travel terms and conditions, and travel itinerary (or travel manual).
    ② The travel contract must include the name and location of the travel agency and the subscription of guarantee insurance, etc. (or deposit status of business deposit) pursuant to Article 9 of the Tourism Promotion Act.
    ③ The travel itinerary (or travel description) must include travel destinations by travel date, tour details, means of transportation, number of shopping trips, lodging locations, meals, etc., service details provided by the travel agency, and traveler precautions.

    Article 5 (Rejection of contract conclusion)

    A travel agency may refuse to enter into a contract with a traveler if the traveler has any of the following reasons.
    1. When individual management is required due to illness, physical abnormality, etc., or when it is recognized that there is a hindrance to the smooth conduct of group travel (causing disruption to the travel of other travelers, etc.)
    2. When the maximum number of participants specified in the contract is exceeded

    Article 6 (Special Provisions)

    Travel agencies and travelers may enter into special agreements in writing (including electronic documents hereinafter the same shall apply) to the extent that they do not violate relevant laws and regulations. In this case, the travel agency must explain to the traveler that the contents of the special contract are different from the standard terms and conditions and take priority over the standard terms and conditions, and receive separate confirmation.

    Article 7 (Issuance of contracts, etc. and provision of safety information)

    When a travel contract is concluded with a traveler, the travel agency must issue a copy of the contract, travel terms and conditions, and travel itinerary (or travel manual) to the traveler, and provide safety information regarding the travel destination. Additionally, even if the safety information for the travel destination changes before departure, the changed safety information must be provided.

    Article 8 (Deemed delivery of contract, terms and conditions, etc.)

    In the following cases, the travel agency is deemed to have issued a travel contract, travel terms and conditions, and a travel itinerary (or travel guide) to the traveler.
    1. When a traveler agrees to the contents of the travel contract, terms and conditions, and travel itinerary (or travel guide) provided through an electronic information network such as the Internet and applies for conclusion of a travel contract, the travel agency gives consent to the traveler using an electronic information network or mechanical device, etc. In case of notification of intention
    2. When the traveler agrees to the contents of the travel contract, terms and conditions, and travel itinerary (or travel guide) provided by the travel agency using a mechanical device such as a facsimile and sends a written request for conclusion of a travel contract, the travel agency sends an electronic information network. When the traveler is notified of his/her intention to consent using a mechanical device or other means

    Article 9 (Travel Fee)

    ① The travel fee in the travel contract includes the following: However, Hope Travel is subject to agreement between the parties.
    1. Freight rates of transportation agencies such as aircraft, ships, and railroads (based on regular fares)
    2. Shuttle bus fare between airport, station, pier and hotel, etc.
    3. Accommodation and meal fees
    4. Guide expenses
    5. Various taxes required during travel
    6. Domestic airport/port usage fees
    7. Entrance fees to tourist attractions in the itinerary
    8. Costs according to other individual contracts
    ② When concluding a contract, the traveler must pay a deposit (less than 10% of the travel fee) to the travel agency, and the deposit is treated as all or part of the travel fee or damages.
    ③ The traveler must pay the balance of the travel fee in Paragraph 1, excluding the deposit, to the travel agency by the day before departure.
    ④ Travelers must pay the travel fee in Paragraph 1 by card, bank transfer, or bank transfer, as agreed upon by the parties.
    ⑤ If travel insurance is included in the desired travel price, the travel agency must explain the insurance company name and compensation details to the traveler.

    Article 10 (Change requirements for travel conditions and settlement of fees, etc.)

    ① Travel conditions specified in the contract, etc. may be changed only in the following cases.
    1. When both parties agree that it is unavoidable due to the traveler's request or local circumstances for the safety and protection of the traveler.
    2. When the purpose of the trip cannot be achieved due to natural disasters, war, government orders, strikes or closures of transportation and lodging agencies, etc.
    ② If the travel agency changes the travel itinerary specified in the contract, etc., written consent must be obtained from the traveler before the start of the itinerary for that date. At this time, the written consent must include the date and time of the change, the details of the change, and the costs incurred due to the change.
    ③ If it is deemed difficult to obtain consent to change the travel itinerary from the traveler due to an emergency such as a natural disaster, accident, or kidnapping, the consent to change the itinerary pursuant to paragraph 2 may not be received. However, the travel agency must explain the reason for the change and the cost in writing afterwards.
    ④ If there is an increase or decrease in the travel fee under Article 9, Paragraph 1 due to a change in the travel conditions under Paragraph 1, the amount changed must be settled (refunded) before the departure of the trip, and the amount changed during the trip must be settled (refunded) within 10 days after the end of the trip. I do.
    ⑤ If the travel conditions are changed other than in accordance with the provisions of Paragraph 1 or damages are incurred due to cancellation or termination of the contract pursuant to the provisions of Articles 13 to 15, those incurred before the departure of the trip shall occur before the departure of the trip, and those incurred during the trip. Each person must make a settlement (refund) within 10 days after the end of the trip.
    ⑥ If the traveler is unable to receive services included in the travel fee, such as accommodation, meals, or tours, due to his/her own circumstances after departure, he/she cannot request a refund of the corresponding fee from the travel agency. However, if the trip ends midway, it will be handled in accordance with Article 15.

    Article 11 (Transfer of tourist status)

    ① In order for a traveler to transfer his/her status as a traveler due to personal reasons, etc., he/she must obtain consent from the travel agency. At this time, the travel agency may approve the transfer on the condition that the traveler or the person seeking to transfer the traveler's status pays the costs incurred by the transfer.
    ② If there are costs incurred due to the transfer under the preceding paragraph, the travel agency must set a deadline and request payment of the costs.
    ③ The travel agency may not accept the transfer under Paragraph 1 for reasons such as the terms of the contract or unavoidable circumstances that make transfer difficult.
    ④ The transfer under Paragraph 1 takes effect when the travel agency approves. However, if the travel agency accepts the transfer on the condition of payment of the costs incurred due to the transfer, it takes effect as soon as the costs are paid within the specified deadline.
    ⑤ When the traveler's status is transferred, all of the traveler's rights and obligations related to the travel contract are transferred to the person to whom the status is transferred.

    Chapter 3: Responsibilities and Obligations

    Article 12 (Travel agency responsibility)

    ① If there is a defect in the travel, the traveler may request the travel agency to correct the defect or reduce the price. However, a request for correction cannot be made if the correction costs too much or if correction cannot be reasonably expected.
    ② Travelers may claim compensation for damages in lieu of claims for correction or reduction, or may claim compensation for damages together with claims for correction or reduction.
    ③ The rights in Paragraphs 1 and 2 may be exercised even during the travel period. , must be exercised within 6 months from the end date of travel.
    ④ From the time of departure of the trip to the time of arrival, the travel agency or its employees, local travel agencies or their employees (hereinafter referred to as "employees") intentionally or intentionally contact the traveler in connection with the travel agency duties stipulated in Article 3, Paragraph 1. If damage is caused due to negligence, you are responsible.
    ⑤ Travel agencies must compensate travelers for damages suffered due to delayed arrivals or traffic jams of transportation such as airplanes, trains, ships, etc. However, this does not apply if the travel agency proves that there was no intention or negligence.
    ⑥ Unless the travel agency proves that it or its employees were negligent in paying attention to the receipt, delivery, and storage of the traveler's baggage, the travel agency must compensate for damages resulting from loss, damage, or delay in the traveler's baggage.

    Article 13 (Cancellation of contract before departure)

    ① The travel agency or traveler may cancel this travel contract before the departure of the trip. In this case, the damages incurred will be compensated according to the 'Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards' (Notification by the Fair Trade Commission).
    ② The travel agency or traveler may cancel this travel contract without paying damages to the other party in accordance with Paragraph 1 of this Article, if any of the following reasons occur before the departure of the trip.
    1. When the travel agency can cancel the contract
    a. In case of the reasons specified in Article 10, Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs 1 and 2
    b. When the traveler is causing trouble to other travelers or when it is recognized that there is significant disruption to the smooth execution of the trip
    c. When the traveler becomes physically unable to participate in the trip due to illness or other issues
    d. When the traveler fails to pay the travel fee by the specified deadline in the contract
    2. When the traveler can cancel the contract
    a. In case of the reasons specified in Article 10, Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs 1 and 2
    b. When the travel agency has not subscribed to the deduction or guarantee insurance according to Article 18 or has not deposited the business deposit
    c. When the traveler's close relative (within the 3rd degree) passes away
    d. When the traveler becomes physically unable to participate in the trip due to illness or other issues
    e. When the spouse or direct lineal ascendant/descendant is hospitalized for more than 3 days and cannot be discharged until the departure of the trip, making it impossible for the spouse or guardian to accompany the traveler
    f. When the travel agency is at fault and cannot carry out the trip according to the schedule stated in the contract

    Article 14 (Cancellation of contract if minimum number of participants is not met)

    ① If the travel agency cancels the travel contract because the minimum number of participants is not met, the agency must notify the traveler at least 24 hours before the departure for day trips, or at least 48 hours before the departure for trips of 1 or more nights.
    ② If the travel agency fails to notify the traveler within the above deadlines due to insufficient participants and cancels the contract, the travel agency must compensate the traveler with an amount equivalent to 100% of the contract deposit in addition to refunding the already paid deposit.

    Article 15 (Contract termination after travel departure)

    ① The travel agency or traveler may cancel the travel contract after the departure of the trip due to unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, each party may cancel the contract with no further obligations if the contract is not fulfilled due to force majeure, such as a natural disaster, war, or other circumstances beyond the control of the parties. However, the party canceling the contract must compensate the other party for any reasonable losses incurred up to the point of cancellation.
    ② If the travel agency or traveler cancels the contract after the trip has begun, the travel agency must refund the unused portion of the trip. However, the agency is not obligated to refund any costs related to services that have already been provided, such as transportation or accommodation expenses.
    ③ The travel agency may cancel the contract after the trip has begun if the traveler has caused damage to the trip participants, the travel agency's reputation, or the safety of others.
    ④ The traveler may cancel the contract after the trip has begun if the travel agency fails to perform the contractual obligations, such as not providing services as promised in the contract.
    ⑤ If the travel agency or traveler cancels the contract due to unavoidable circumstances or failure to meet obligations, both parties shall agree on a fair settlement, taking into account the nature and extent of the loss.

    Article 16 (Start and end of travel)

    ① The travel agency shall not be liable for damages caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or acts of terrorism, and will not compensate for any loss or delay arising from such events.
    ② If the travel agency becomes aware of any possible risk that may affect the traveler's safety, it must immediately inform the traveler. However, the travel agency will not be responsible for any damages caused by the traveler's failure to take precautions or ignore the warnings.

    Article 17 (Duty to explain)

    ① If the traveler has any complaints regarding the services provided during the trip, they must notify the travel agency immediately. If the traveler fails to do so, the travel agency will not be liable for any losses.
    ② The travel agency will respond to the traveler's complaint promptly and fairly. If it is deemed that the complaint is justified, the travel agency will take reasonable steps to resolve the issue.
    ③ If the complaint cannot be resolved on-site, the traveler must file a formal complaint with the travel agency within 15 days of returning from the trip.

    Article 18 (Insurance Subscription, etc.)

    ① The travel agency is responsible for the safety of the traveler during the trip. If the traveler suffers an injury or death due to the agency's negligence, the agency must compensate the traveler or the family of the deceased.
    ② However, the travel agency will not be held liable for damages caused by the traveler's negligence or actions outside of the agency's responsibilities.
    ③ In case of an emergency, the travel agency must immediately assist the traveler, including arranging for medical treatment and communication with the embassy if needed.

    Article 19 (Other Matters)

    ① The travel agency must clearly inform the traveler of the travel insurance options available for the trip. If the traveler chooses not to purchase insurance, the agency will not be responsible for any damages or costs incurred due to unforeseen events during the trip.
    ② The traveler may also purchase additional travel insurance independently. The travel agency will cooperate in providing the necessary information for the traveler to obtain such insurance.

  • Terms of Service of Arisu Tour Co., Ltd.

    Chapter 1: General Provisions

    Article 1 (Purpose)

    The purpose of these regulations is to define the rights and obligations between the company and users in relation to the services provided by the website operated by Arisu Tour Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") that users can use.

    Article 2 (Definition of Terms)

    The definitions of terms used in these regulations are as follows:
    1. "Arisu Tour" refers to a virtual sales location set up to allow transactions of products using computer and other information communication facilities to provide the company's products or services to users.
    2. "User" refers to a member or non-member who accesses Arisu Tour and uses the services provided by the company in accordance with these regulations.
    3. "Member" refers to a person who provides personal information to Arisu Tour and registers as a member, allowing them to continuously use the information and services provided through Arisu Tour.
    4. "Non-member" refers to a person who uses the information and services provided by the company without registering as a member on Arisu Tour.
    5. "Personal Information" refers to information that can identify a specific individual, such as name, date of birth, email address, and mobile phone number.

    Chapter 2: Use of Services

    Article 3 (Provision of Services)

    ① The Company provides the following services through Arisu Tour:
    1. Sales services for domestic and international travel products and airline tickets
    2. Provision of travel information and travel product-related information services
    3. Other services as determined by the Company
    ② The Company may, if necessary, add, adjust, or modify the content of the services mentioned in the previous section.

    Article 4 (Use and Restriction of Services)

    ① The use of the service is generally available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (00:00 ~ 24:00), unless there are special business or technical issues.
    ② The company may suspend the service by arbitrarily determining the date and time due to regular maintenance or other necessary reasons related to the service hours mentioned above.
    ③ Users can apply for service use by completing the registration process on Arisu Tour (including agreeing to the terms, personal information collection, provision, and use).
    ④ The company may suspend or restrict the service in the following cases:
    1. In unavoidable cases, such as facility maintenance or construction.
    2. When a telecommunications service provider, as stipulated by the Telecommunications Business Act, suspends the telecommunications service.
    3. In cases of national emergencies, power outages, equipment failures, or surges in service usage that interfere with normal service use.

    Article 5 (Restriction and Reinstatement of Member's Use)

    ① If the company wishes to restrict a member's use of the service under Article 8 of these terms, it will notify the member of the reason, time, and other details in accordance with Article 17 of these terms.
    However, this does not apply if the company deems it necessary to suspend the service urgently or in cases under Article 13, Paragraph 5.
    ② A member who receives the notice of service restriction may file an objection to the notice.
    ③ The company may temporarily delay the suspension of the service until the objection is reviewed and will notify the member of the result.
    ④ If the reason for the member's suspension is resolved, the suspension will be lifted immediately.

    Article 6 (Membership Registration)

    ① Members must fill out the registration form as prescribed by the company and complete the registration process by agreeing to the terms and conditions.
    ② When a member registers, checking the consent box is considered as agreeing to the terms set by the company.
    ④ The following individuals cannot register as members:
    1. Individuals who apply for membership using another person's or a fictitious name.
    2. Individuals who provide false or incomplete information on the registration form.
    3. Children under the age of 14.
    ⑤ Members must update their information directly through Arisu Tour when there are changes to their registration details to maintain accurate information.
    ⑥ All information entered in the registration form is considered to be true and accurate, and any disadvantages caused by failing to provide or update information will be borne by the member.

    Article 7 (Member ID and Password)

    ① Members wishing to use Arisu Tour services must register their Member ID and Password according to the company's guidelines.
    ② The responsibility for managing the assigned Member ID and Password and any consequences resulting from negligent or unauthorized use rests with the member.
    ③ If a member's Member ID or Password is used fraudulently by someone else, the member must immediately notify the company and follow any additional instructions provided.

    Article 8 (Membership Withdrawal and Loss of Eligibility)

    ① Members who wish to withdraw can easily do so at any time through the membership withdrawal function on Arisu Tour's My Page.
    ② The company will store and manage the personal information of members who have been inactive for 12 months separately from other members' information as dormant members.
    ③ The company may terminate the membership agreement or suspend service use for members who engage in the following behaviors without prior notice:
    1. Use of another person's membership information.
    2. Deliberately disrupting the operation of the service.
    3. Providing false information.
    4. Intentionally distributing content that disrupts public order or morals.
    5. Using the service for purposes that harm national interests or public welfare.
    6. Damaging the company's or others' reputation or causing disadvantage.
    7. Death.
    8. Failure to fulfill obligations under Article 13.
    9. Failure to activate membership status within 4 years after becoming a dormant member.
    ④ The effect of membership withdrawal or loss of eligibility occurs on the following dates:
    1. The date of membership withdrawal or notice of eligibility loss from the company.
    2. In the case of eligibility loss due to death, the date of death.

    Article 9 (Purchasing of Products)

    ① Users may purchase products as prescribed by Arisu Tour.
    ② The company may cancel the approval of a member's purchase in the following cases:
    1. If the application contains false information, omissions, or errors.
    2. If there are issues with the creditworthiness of the purchaser.
    3. If the product is out of stock.
    4. If the payment method or payment details are not suitable.
    5. If the company's operations are overloaded.

    Article 10 (Payment Methods)

    ① Users who purchase products sold by Arisu Tour can choose one of the methods defined by the company to make the payment.
    However, point payment in Item 3 may be used in conjunction with other payment methods.
    1. Payment methods defined by the company

    Article 11 (Provision of Information)

    The company may provide various information that it deems necessary during the use of the service to members via email, phone, or mail.

    Chapter 3: Responsibilities and Obligations

    Article 12 (Company's Obligations)

    ① The company shall not engage in any acts prohibited by law or these terms and shall strive to provide continuous and stable services as per the rules.
    ② The company will not engage in unfair advertising practices as stipulated in Article 3 of the Fair Labeling and Advertising Act regarding products or services provided through Arisu Tour.
    ③ The company shall maintain fair and sound operations of Arisu Tour and provide high-quality services through continuous research and development.
    1. If the product is damaged due to the customer's fault.
    2. If the product is opened.
    3. If the product value is compromised due to the customer's use.
    ④ Refund and exchange requests should be made through Arisu Tour's customer service center, and the processing procedures will follow the customer service center's regulations.

    Article 13 (Member's Obligations)

    ① Members must comply with the relevant laws, the terms specified by Arisu Tour, and any other notifications issued by the company, and must not interfere with the normal operation of the company's business.
    ② Members must provide honest and accurate information when registering and must update any changes accordingly. Members are responsible for any issues arising from failure to update their information.
    ③ Members may not copy, reproduce, or modify any information obtained through the service without Arisu Tour's prior consent, nor may they use such information for commercial purposes.
    ④ Members must not engage in the following actions:
    1. Defaming other members or third parties and damaging their reputation.
    2. Using another member's account or personal information without authorization.
    3. Infringing the intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties.
    4. Distributing content that violates public order or decency.
    5. Posting advertisements that are unrelated to the subject matter.
    6. Any other actions deemed illegal.
    ⑤ The company may restrict the use of the service without prior notice if a member engages in the actions mentioned above.

    Chapter 4: Protection of Information

    Article 14 (Protection of Personal Information)

    ① The company collects only the minimum necessary information for the provision of services and fulfillment of contracts.
    ② Detailed information on personal data processing is available in the company's privacy policy posted on the website.

    Chapter 5: Miscellaneous

    Article 15 (Posting and Amending the Terms)

    ① The company shall post the content of the terms in a manner that members can easily access on the initial page of Arisu Tour.
    ② The company may amend the terms, and the amended terms will be publicly disclosed as per Article 17 of these terms.
    ③ The company will announce the reasons for and the effective date of any changes, and will provide at least 7 days' notice prior to the effective date. For changes that affect members' rights or obligations, at least 30 days' notice will be provided.
    ④ If a member does not express any objection to the amended terms by the effective date, the member will be deemed to have agreed to the changes. However, members who do not agree to the changes can terminate their membership, and any points accumulated will be immediately forfeited.
    ⑤ Members should pay attention to the amendments and the company is not responsible for any damages caused by a member's failure to comply with the changes.

    Article 16 (Intellectual Property Rights)

    ① The intellectual property rights of the works created by the company belong to the company.
    ② Members may not commercially use or process the information obtained through Arisu Tour or the materials provided by the service.

    Article 17 (Notification to Members)

    ① The company may notify members via email, phone, or public notice on the website.
    ② The company may replace individual notifications with public notices on the initial screen of Arisu Tour for matters affecting multiple members for more than 7 days. However, for issues related to individual transactions, the company will provide individual notifications.
    ③ Due to unavoidable circumstances, the public notice period may be shortened or omitted.

    Article 18 (Dispute Resolution)

    ① The company operates a grievance handling mechanism to reflect members' legitimate opinions or complaints and compensate for damages.
    ② The company prioritizes processing complaints or opinions submitted by members. If a prompt resolution is difficult, the company will immediately notify the member of the reason and the processing schedule.
    ③ In case of a dispute between the company and a member, the member may seek resolution through a dispute mediation agency designated by the Fair Trade Commission or the local governor.

    Article 19 (Jurisdiction)

    ① Matters not specified in these terms or the interpretation of these terms shall be governed by applicable laws and customary practices.
    ② All disputes related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court with jurisdiction over the member's address or residence at the time of filing the lawsuit. If the member's address or residence is unclear, the jurisdiction will be determined according to the Civil Procedure Act. Korean law shall apply to such lawsuits.

    Article 20 (Effectiveness of the Terms)

    ① These terms will take effect on December 1, 2023.
    ② The amended terms will take effect from the amendment date, and the amended terms apply only to contracts entered into after the amendment date. However, members who wish to apply the amended terms to contracts entered into before the amendment date must obtain the company's consent before the effective date.

  • Consent to the Collection and Use of Personal Information (Mandatory)

    Arisu Tour Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") collects only the minimum necessary personal information as outlined below to provide travel services and membership services.
